Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon

think this was what I had several years ago....if so, I liked it. Need to try again.

This is one of my favorite whiskeys. Each time I revisit it I like it more and more. It easy to drink yet at a proof that has plenty of flavor. There is complexity in every sip to grab your attention and keep it till the next. It's affordable at 55$ a bottle here in Oregon and easy to find. Win-Win-Win.

Very flavorful whiskey with strong spice that stays with you. Wouldn’t describe this a smooth whiskey by any means, definitely better after on ice for a bit so the water can dilute it a bit but overall very enjoyable with lots of flavors that my limited palate can’t yet tell what they are.

Spicy and sweet with a nice kick. Long finish. For the price I might prefer four roses single barrel (about $10 cheaper where I am), but this is a great option for bourbon lovers.
