Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon

Spicy, gives way to a floral tea flavor with a long finish. Lots of flavor to enjoy in this little number.

Cinnamon and barrel notes on the nose. Spice leads up front. Mild vanilla and brown sugar before the spice returns for a loooonngg finish. Heavy mouth feel. Enjoyable but a bit more spice than I like.

not bad, but not exceptional.

Tasting barrel 18-0744 from rickhouse F. Charred oak and cinnamon initially. Faint vanilla pokes through the tannic mid and finish. Dry and barrel forward. Delicious.
