Reviewed December 18, 2021 (edited February 5, 2022)One of my favorites. Think of OF1910 or WRDO but if they were a rye. Or if you’ve had the pleasure of WhistlePig 15 year estate rye, it’s like that but a little less smooth, a lot more flavor, and for way less money. Fantastic bottle.60.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed December 1, 2021Under the expected oak, rye spice, and rich deep caramel, I have begun finding more dark red fruit. Like a caramel candied apple and maraschino cherries laid out on slabs of toasted oak. The finish is chewy and spicy. A dram that I enjoy more each time I pour. -

Reviewed November 21, 2021 (edited January 18, 2022)It starts out with the titular oak on the nose, but pretty gentle. Notes of cinnamon and clove follow, with an underlying sweetness. First sip brings more oak and light spice, but also chocolate and red fruit. The wood character is ever present, and the finish is spicy and lingering. A complex and hefty dram that drinks quite smooth. -
