Sagatiba roughly translates to "the infinite search for quality." It was created by tech entrepreneur Marcos de Moraes in 2004, after selling his internet company, and was eventually purchased by Gruppo Campari in 2011. This Brazilian-made, clear spirit is distilled from pressed sugarcane juice and bottled unaged.
CachaçaProduced in Brazil. Distilled from sugarcane juice. If aged, at least 50% of product must be at least 1 year old. The types of barrels used are not specified, but often utilize Brazilian wood. Up to 6 grams of sugar per liter may be added.
