Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum

I wanna give this 5 stars and I wanna give it 1. that explains my 3 right off the bat. I made a pour with my first shot of a 200ml. It smelt like alcohol, tasted not much better than alcoholic molasses. Fast forward to tonight. I poured a shot. Drank a Moscow mule, let it air out. this is the Evan Williams of spiced rum. out the bottle it's kid shit. let it air out it smells like butterscotch and becomes a scotch. Take that how you will. this is a good sipper for the price if you got time to let it simmer in between shots, otherwise... all burn and no class.

probably not the best thing I've ever had. However, when I just want a cocktail and don't want to think about it, Sailor Jerry with Dr. Pepper and a lime wedge is my go-to drink.
