Reviewed January 7, 2026 (edited January 17, 2026)Review #293 Whiskey Tour of the World 2025 #3 Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Smoky with some fruit and tobacco. Palate: Smoky with some black tea notes. Finish: Medium length with medium heat. Splash: No new flavors appear. Overall: 7.5/10 - New Zealand single malt is not a style that I would hae gotten excited about prior to this. While this reminds me more of a smoky Japanese whiskey than Scotch, it’s got it’s own unique characteristics. That black tea note is very prominent.
