Seven Brothers Hickory Smoked

Wow. The bottle said Hickory Smoked. It was. The smoke flavor overpowers everything else. It hits hard, right away. Wont be trying this one again. I will however try another of their product, I understand different tastes for different people. As I always say, "It's not wrong, just different".

I'd rate it a 0 if I could. While I typically drink good whisk(e)y neat, I can drink almost anything. I bought this on a whim, thinking "I'm a big peat head, a different style of smoky whiskey can't be too bad". I can't imagine being more wrong. This tastes like liquid smoke, and not in the fun Islay whisky style. To the point where I honestly question if I can endure another sip. I don't want to say anything bad about the distillery, because different palates and idk what they were shooting for and all, but I would really consider sobriety before subjecting myself to another drop...
