Seven Devils Straight Bourbon

Nose: Apple, caramel, nut, very fragrant Palate: Spice, oak Finish, Short with a grainy profile A bit unbalanced, a youthful blend. While the nose was interesting, the palate just doesn't deliver on that promise.

A basic whiskey, strong spice and cinnamon notes. Pretty harsh, burns for a while. Needs ice.

Harsh at first, not too bad on the back end. It just seems dull, muted. Kinda spicy, kinda maple, kinda mint. Like tasting through a filter.
