Shackleton Blended Malt

Had at scotch night. Liked it - not too harsh

light smoke, vague raisin and grapes, granny Smith apples

Almost through bottle. Appreciate the light smoke and peat when straight, but this blend is much better on ice. Other flavors present quickly. Love the packaging, bottle, and back story, but probably not a repeat purchase for me.

Interesting pour. Banana nose, but very strong on the first sip. You get some smoke and peat, and it's hard to pull out much more...until I put a small ice cube in there. All of a sudden, the softer floral notes came out.

Tasty and easy drinking. Sweet with notes of bright fruit and tart apple.
