Shelter Point French Oak Double Barreled Single Malt

This Canadian single malt is made using two-row malted barley. It is double distilled in small batches and aged in American oak for 4 years. It then finishes its maturation in French oak red wine barrels for 152 days. The wine barrels used were from the British Columbia winery Quails' Gate, specifically their Quails' Gate Old Vines Foch Reserve. Bottled without chill filtration at 50% ABV.

TRADITIONALLY, CANADIAN WHISKEY IS CALLED “RYE”, ALTHOUGH NO MINIMUM PERCENTAGE OF RYE-GRAIN WHISKY IS REQUIRED IN A BLEND.
