Tasting Notes

"As one would expect from a spirit with such extended ageing, the Shibui 30 year is oaky and tannic with a dryness offset by restrained vanilla notes. Look also for hints of leather and date with a bit of brine on the finish that lasts for days. It's a subdued and multilayered offering that draws well from its three types of casks. "
