Reviewed October 31, 2020A weird rubber+sweet honey nose, sweet candied caramel taste and short finish, this is a very inexpensive single malt that has hints of floral notes from typical Speysides but is nothing to write home about. -

Reviewed October 5, 2020Tasting neat via a 50mL taster: Nose of vanilla and lemon cream, with caramel throughout. Palate is soft with more vanilla and slight astringent heat. Finishes with more heat and light lemon zest that fades quickly. -

Reviewed August 23, 2020 (edited October 31, 2020)Nose is honeyed pear with some grassiness. Taste is generic honeyed Speyside. Very thin mouthfeel. Good nose and easy enough to drink but not mindblowing by any means.30.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed August 2, 2020Interesting whisky which seems to be rather obscure despite being released by Ian Macleod. The bad: suffers from a watery 80 proof. The good: classic speyside profile with honey, milk chocolate, a light spice, some cereal grains, and a touch of peach or apricot in the nose. Pleasant and easy going this is a good whisky for catering with its softness and low price point. Bonus points for the well crafted nose which is the high point here.35.0 USD per Bottle
