2024 Summer Release Nose - Stewed apples & pears, warm ginger, honey, light brewed tea Taste - Baked apples, poached pear, cinnamon, honey, ginger, apple danish, white grape gummies Finish - Baked apple desserts, warm ginger spice, white grape gummies Score - 84/100 Final Thoughts - This had a much better & pronounced nose than than the 2023 Winter release. It popped a bit more and felt more like an apple pastry with hints of white grape gummies from start to finish. A light honey ginger spice sprinkled throughout was nice and I could definitely see myself sipping this neat rather than wanting to mix it into a highball. 2023 Winter Release Nose - Fresh cut apples, honey, baked pastries, candied ginger Taste - Baked apples, ginger spice, goji berries, light metallic/mineral vibe, hint of lemon acidity Finish - Lingering fruity metallic, honey, ginger, light bitter fruit stems Score - 78/100 Final Thoughts - This was good, nothing really too off about it other than the fruity metallic/mineral vibe at the end. Not too exciting on the nose, but it just felt like a really clean distillate that felt quite neutral on all fronts. No heavy fruits or anything of that sort, but felt very much like a very summery spirit that would go great in a highball with a lemon or yuzu twist.
