Smith's Angaston // Australia
Smith's Angaston 8 Year is a revival of a whisky Samuel Smith & Son sold in the 50's through the 70's called "Smith’s Imperial Vat Whisky." This single malt, first distilled as an experiment to test out the old equipment and recipe, was produced in 1998 using the original pot still from 1931.
Single MaltDistilled in pot stills from 100% malted barley, produced at one distillery, aged in barrels; if Scotch or Irish, must be aged for at least three years.
