Smoke Wagon Small Batch Straight Bourbon

This drinks a little hot for the proof point. It also has a young note that is very prominent. Honestly, I’m a little bummed that I paid 60 for this. Not bad overall, but I just was wanting a little more quality for the price.

I like the complexity stemming from the blending of different ages but this bottle left something to be desired at this price point for me.

Floral, caramel, oak, sweet, baking soices, rye .

Picked up at retail. For the price I'm impressed. I get leather and oak with a med peppery finish. Would pick up again IF i could ever find it here (got it traveling).

Tastes peppery, like rye. Long lasting finish, but nothing outstanding in the flavor

Not memorable - not many observable notes. Would drink standard $30 bourbons over this. Do not plan to buy again. Optimistic about uncut.
