Single MaltDistilled in pot stills from 100% malted barley, produced at one distillery, aged in barrels; if Scotch or Irish, must be aged for at least three years.
Tasting Notes
"Surprisingly approachable with notes of vanilla and marzipan accompanied by vegetal peat, green olives, brine and almond paste. There's also soft whispers of raw oak and lemon peel too. The palate is certainly more aggressive because of its higher ABV, but not by much considering. A sweet arrival highlighted by vanilla, quickly followed by lemon pith is found, but there's also rubber, vegetal peat and shoe polish. Delivers on strength but a little less on complexity."
