Tasting Notes
"Right away the peat and toasted malt are the obvious aromas from the moment the whisky is poured. Digging a bit deeper you'll find some light rubber notes as well as some savory bacon bits. The whisky feels soft and fairly full on the palate (med plus body) and then the peat smoke takes over once more. It's tangy and enjoyable enough for the price point with a moderate malty sweetness. However, it's not terribly complex and the tequila influence is not noticeable until the finish (which makes the naming of the whisky pretty perfect) with a bitter agave presence coming through. "
