Smooth Ambler Old Scout 107 Proof American Whiskey

Excellent, best have tried of Old Scout/Smooth Ambler, and seems to only be at Total Wine. Good value too. Very nutty.

Caramel and soda on the nose. Warm on the palate with thick mouth feel. Long finish from the high proof.

Nose is better than palate. Honey, maple, (Dr pepper?), oak on nose. Rich, nutty, honey and super rye spice with long finish.

Liked it more than expected given the high proof. Vanilla.
