Tasting Notes
"The used oak finishing does a lot for this young whiskey. The cherrywood smoking gives it an interesting sweet pipe-tobacco smoke aroma in the glass, then comes to play on the palate imparting fresh, ripe strawberry and raspberry flavors mixed with the barley's earthy funk. Maple syrup, bran flakes cereal, and a bit of burnt orange peel add to the intrigue. Finishes very peppery and hot, with sharp clove and allspice. "
