Tried this with a bit of water.
Pretty darn good for the price. The nose is distinctly citrus. The sip is a little sweet and very soft, but the finish seems to be all burn, and it lingers for quite a while. Maybe this is expected at 86 proof at this price, but then again I can’t think of another 10-year single malt at this price. Does $30-ish buy a better blend? Probably. Does it buy a better single malt? I doubt it.
I’ll have to try it with an ice cube.
