I have a bottle of Glen Scotia 15 bought a month or two ago, to learn about Campbeltown - SB 10 wasn't available. Tonight I ordered a dram of this. My first thought as I immediately expressed to my colleagues, SB 10 is more refined and GS 15 is more interesting.
They're both sweet and spicy, the former's spiciness is from the nose to the finish while the latter is a more a sudden burst on the mid-palate. the latter's sweetness is more rounded and full.
And they both have the very unique Campbeltown taste, I don't get that from anything from anywhere else.
It's hard to compare, the profiles are fairly similar, I like them both.
