Nose: gentle coastal peaty smoke, brown sugar, green apple. A little bit of earthy sherry sweetness. Caramel. A bit of petrichor/fresh rain on stone. A tiny hint of Forest floor.
Palate: beautiful, rich and fruity, nice poached green apple, a bit of caramel, there's a noticeable oak char. Beautifully balanced between sweet and dry/tannic. Vanilla. A bit of citrus peel, and a touch of honeyed malt. The peat element is very subtle here but gives a nice coastal salinity to balance the sweet elements. Moderately spicy.
Finish: a bit green, gently smokey with a bit of lingering peat.
