Very light yellow in color. Not unsimilar from diluted apple juice.
Light pepper and light brown sugar on the nose
Taste is immediately sweet, malty caramel. Then intense burst of pepper and dank ass orange peel and atomic fireball. Not too oily. Flavors linger for about a minute, finishes dry.
Light earthy peat smoke, vanilla and hints of aged oak and sherry on the nose. Medium-bodied and oily mouthful, with oranges, berries and sea salt on the palate. The finish is lightly spiced and relatively short. It is not the most fragrant or full-bodied of Springbank expressions, but still quite pleasant and easy-drinking. Certainly worth trying.
