Springbank 18 Year

Creamy, pear, vanilla, toffee. Citrus peel on the nose. Very creamy, smooth palate. You could drink this straight all day long.

A wonderful expression from Springbank. It has the slightest bit of peat on the nose, while still being very sweet and fruity; apricots, oranges, apples and grapes. The palate is complex, creamy and full of flavours. This whisky ends into a beautiful finish that is medium long, dry and has an excellent mouthfeel. A dram that one will surely remember, either for loving it or hating it. "Excellent" : 4.25 stars | Really quite exceptional.

Oily

I’m not that drunk this time! Nosing: old book/newspaper/bookstore. Sherry sweetness - chocolate, caramel, some raisins. Also some vanilla, orange, and a bit of honey. I’m really enjoying it so much. Tasting: a touch of old book smell, but more sweetness comparing to the nosing. Also a touch of saltiness with a drop of water. Finishing: long, warm and sweet finishing.
