Springbank 18 Year

Aroma: Sherry, Red Fruits(Raspberry, ...), Tropical, Floral Palates, Tropical, Sherry, Sweetness, moderate thickness. Finish: Sherry (similar character when i felt aroma, palates), finish with sweetness, fruity, floral It's nice and can feel really different styles with another whisky. But I think this character is not fit for me to take change of price...

Semi-blind. Points for complexity, but the type of peat or the campbeltown funk are just nog good for me. But tonight, with this line-up at least i found it much better than a few days ago when i had a dram from the same bottle (couldn't give it more than 3). Update 29 oktober 23: bottle 20% left, the peat is very pronounced, and very dry and even bitter, do not like it. That's probable what's bothering me with sprinbank the last 5-10 years. It really was different 15 years (and longer) ago, better to my taste.

Strong, not so flavourful as expected. Seems to work with added water thankfully. Some strawberry or the like a side from the leather and oak.
