St. George Baller Single Malt Whisky
American Single Malt
St. George Spirits // California, USA
St. George Spirits calls their new release “a California take on the Japanese spin on Scotch whisky.
” Baller Single Malt Whisky is distilled from a mash of malted and lightly roasted American barley, in the same pot stills used for their brandy. The majority of its 3 to 4 year maturation is spent in ex-bourbon and French wine casks, before finishing in casks that held distillery's own version of umeshu (a Japanese plum liqueur).
