Stagg Jr Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch 12

Lots of toffee, chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon. Great, oily mouthfeel, and while it has heat, it’s not too hot and it’s not spicy. Definitely a top shelf choice.

Surprisingly smooth at this proof point. Getting a little bit of that Kentucky hug on the way down. Getting the cola, cherry, and possibly a little grape. Overall very nice pour and one of my all-time faves.

Strong but flavor comes through

Nose- Caramel, Vanilla, tobacco, vanilla custard, cherry, cherry cola, syrup, leather Palate- Sweet, spice, very filling and oily Finish-Long and warm, not spicy but warm. Vanilla, a hint of cinnamon, oak, cherry! This is an outstanding bourbon! A must buy if you can find it!
