Well this is awkward... Looks like I'm going to be the bad guy here with a negative and contrarian opinion. Ugh... The first thing your nose tells you is that this is obviously a bourbon, and a good portion of the mash bill is probably rye. There's also a nice touch of milk chocolate, like Rosebuds. The palate is nice, but less pleasant than the nose, with an at times overbearing dose of wood spices. a little bit of water is a must here and helps bring out the notes of ripe cherries, vanilla and oak. The finish is somewhat of a nosedive, and truthfully tastes like you're sucking the water out of a wet log. Not for me.
