This one was all dark sugars and syrups on the nose with tons of oak and some spice. The palate reminded me of the syrup I make for pecan pie before I add the pecans with syrupy brown sugar, a touch of molasses, and spice. The finish is long with a bit of heat up front and oak and molasses through the end.
