Starlight Carl T. Huber's Signature Bourbon

Extreme solid

Very smooth

Doesn’t quite stand up to other double oaked brands but it’s perfectly fine. It lacks a smoothness from a more mature bourbon but is still quite tasty. Starlight has better recipes.

Beautiful dark cherry nose with hints of mocha. Was not expecting much as the Carl T is only 4 years old and relatively inexpensive, but I'm blown away. Rich bourbon character on the palate with just a little burn. Lingering finish of chocolate covered cherry. I usually rate on the 100 point scale. This is a 94!
