Starward Nova Single Malt

Very woody with lots of vanilla, a bit of smoke.

The first glass came off almost soapy. Probably tanins, but the bottle’s gotten better with each tasting. Mixes really nicely with some orange notes and vanilla syrup.

On the nose, lots of bright notes, vanilla and fruit forward. On the tongue it is no different, get hints of red wine, oak and apple. Some caramel notes but not as present as the rather sweet tones of this whiskey have a more acidic finish rather than the roundness of caramel.
