It's made with 100% Texas-grown grains with the following recipe: 26% blue corn, 25% white corn, 44% rye, 5% malted barley. It follows the bottled in bond regulations so it's the product of one distillation season from one distiller, is aged for at least 4 years in a federally bonded warehouse, and is bottled at 100 proof.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma has a spiced tea quality along with some toasted nuts, waxy corn kernels and freshly-cut oak. It's a touch sweet on the tongue with a medium body. But it's pretty chewy while still having some slick sweetness at the finish. Flavor wise there's more of the spiced tea flavors and the large amount of rye is clear. Further tastes brings forth some nice sweet and herbal notes on the nose, but the mid-palate is a bit hollow. "
