Stone Fort Rye

Nose is not appealing, no finish, no spice, better with water/ice, nothing memorable.

Great for a newer whiskey. They use smaller cask sizes which give it more flavor in a shorter amount of time (obviously it shortcuts and isn't the same as normal sized barrel aging). This batch is vanilla forward, some oak and brown spice. Quite smooth. Needs more time, but very sippable.

Good. Could use a bit more time, but real smooth. 100% rye.
