Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey (Discontinued)

Smells very sweet! Taste is layers of sweetness, and a bourbon-like level of flavor.

I am trying to be charitable, but this was not very good to me. It had very very strange flavors. I can handle different, but this bottle strays way beyond my abilities to appreciate. Thanks @ridethalightin for sharing...i guess...At least I didn't drop coin on this pour. My suggestion would be to take a test pour at an establishment if you must before an investment.

Get the astringent nose...mildly on the palette.

Smokey, mildly peaty, easy drinking whiskey. Great whiskey for the price.

Up front sweetness and syrup. Mid palate burn with some spice with a little cinnamon. Short oily finish, some oak and tannins.
