Stranahan's Single Barrel Cask Strength Single Malt

Don’t remember the heavy details but tried this a couple years ago.

Getting cherry, dark chocolate, and pepper on the palate. This reminds me a lot of No.9 Reserve, which I actually did not like, but this is a lot more refined and balanced. If you enjoy the flavors here I'd definitely recommend checking out No.9 Reserve

Sweet finish. Some spice. Smooth.

Total Wine Knoxville, 114 proof, ID 16-1874 Beautiful whiskey. Heat throughout but nice notes of oak, caramel, fruit, and brown sugar. Nice sweet tail and lingers for a long moment.

Excellent whiskey. Musty grain and ethanol on the first nose gives way to a velvety smooth mouthfeel of sweet, sugary deliciousness. Nice spicy finish. Just amazing. First learned of this from a YouTube video from the Whiskey Tribe where distillers talk about what they drink when they’re not drinking their own creations. Check it out! 9/5/22 - Finished this bottle on a recent camping trip. So when we returned home, I did the obvious thing - quickly bought another bottle and one each for my son and future son-in-law!!
