EXPLORATION: Nothing bombastic, but certainly not boring. The nose is tame and discreet. Upon arrival, a cereal sweetness disguises a quiet smoke that meets you halfway. Solid. EXHORTATION: Seek if you’re looking for an affordable but pleasing blend to share with others.

This is a light, thin and sweet whisky. It's not bad, there's something in it that gives me the worst headache the next day. For the price I prefer to go with something else. Don't take my word for it if this sounds up your alley though!

Smell: very sweet and floral. Almost reminds me of a cream cheese frosting. Taste: Sweet but thin. Not much in the way of variety or excitement. Like a cheap moscato with higher alcohol content. Has an after burn in the back of the throat. Can definitely tell this is a young, budget whiskey. Nowhere near the flavor or complexity of Hibiki, but it’s not necessarily supposed to be, it’s a budget suntory selection. 10.12.20. Neat.

Surprisingly fruity. Unlike scotch this has a warmth in the chest rather than the belly. Dried apricot & pear on the nose. Pepper and slight wood on the palate, would be best paired with fresh seafood or white meat. As predominantly scotch whisky drinkers we found this Surprisingly refreshing
