Sweetens Cove 13 Year Tennessee Bourbon

Very wood forward. Some chocolate at the end. Big Kentucky hug.

Toasted marshmallow and hints of cotton candy on the nose. Leather, vanilla, ah I have no idea what I’m doing. This is pretty decent stuff but I’m sure way overpriced. Happily received as a generous gift but won’t spend $200 for another when it’s gone.

Tasted at Cheryl’s - lots of flavor; full bodied

It’s very complex I will give it that but I personally feel it is heavily oaked to a bitter point with heavy tobacco. I get the sweeter notes but the age takes over. Mine is a sample that was given to me so not sure if this sample does it justice but for me it’s a hard pass.

Definitely taste the age... and not entirely in a good way. Glad I’ve tried it, won’t be searching it out again, way overpriced.

Sweet! Delicious bottle that’s not just an overhyped Peyton Manning product. I’m happy with the $180 price I got it at. Not sure I’d but it consistently, but it was great to try and add to the collection at home!
