Tamdhu Distillery was established on the banks of the River Spey in 1897 and is today owned by Ian Macleod Distillers. The Cigar Malt series was first introduced in 2021 and has since been released annually, with the whisky matured exclusively in first fill European oak Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Jerez, Spain. It carries no age statement and is unpeated, bottled non-chill filtered at 53.
