Wow - the initial nosing causes the drinker to pause and wonder “what did I spend my money on?” It is a little light with hints of scotch in the background. But wait, there’s more.....
The first sip is an explosion of notes across a spectrum of oak, rip tropical fruit and herbal teas. The complexity is hard to capture but worth the trip of your hand to the glass and the glass to your mouth.
The finish is sweet and lasting. This is an important upgrade from the small batch or single grain. To date, it is the beat Teeling I have tried - nicely done!
On to the Pot Still next... stay toned!
