Tequila Zarpado is made from 100% blue weber agave grown in the Tequila Valley in Jalisco. It's rested in ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels for 3-4 months before bottling.
The brand was launched in 2021 by Latitude Beverage which has a portfolio of wine and spirits brands including Wheel Horse Whiskey, the source of the barrels for this reposado tequila. Available in select markets across the US as of late April 2022.

Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".

Tasting Notes
"The nose reveals notes of grapefruit zest, roasted agave, vanilla, and coffee. Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and black pepper initially hit the palate with a hint of chili pepper, smoothing out into rich vanilla along with citrus zest. The finish is rather pepper spicy, with the richer notes flickering out, but with the zestiness lingering on the back palate. "
