The 10th Pin is a barrel-aged apple brandy produced by The Albany Distiling Co in collaboration with Nine Pin Cider. Bottled at 80 proof, it's distilled from 100% Capital District and Hudson Valley apples fermented at the cidery and aged in a used barrel. Made from American oak, the barrel was first used to age Albany Distilling Company Rye Whiskey and used again to age Nine Pin Cider from 2013, before its third use aging this brandy.

Produced in the US, this is usually referring to brandy distilled from grape-based wine. If the producer uses other fruit, it must be stated on the label. If aged under two years in oak, it must state the word "immature" on the label. Beyond that, labels such as VS, VSOP, and XO mean little as the brands themselves dictate what that means to them.
