Reviewed March 13, 2020Sultanas, vanilla, oats and condensed milk on the nose. A fruity white pepper and spice arrival. A sweet finish of molasses and green grass. -

Nose: typical Balvenie, extra vanilla, brown sugar (very bourbon like) and some bready notes Taste: bright and zesty Finish: short to medium 17-year double wood is my favorite but this one is a bit better than your standard Balvenie 12 -

Reviewed March 7, 2020 (edited March 9, 2020)Light golden hue leads into this sweet scotch with honey overtones. The rum cask is lightly present, but present nonetheless. Personally, I prefer the Balvenie sans rum cask finish. -
