Unlike the standard Powers Gold bottling which is a blended whiskey, John's Lane Release is a traditional single pot still whiskey. Named after the distillery on John's Lane in Dublin that James Power founded. The whiskey is aged primarily in American oak barrels for 12 years.

Tasting Notes

"There is a gentle sweet cereal nose mixed with caramel and honey. As you taste, you'll find a major vanilla presence along with lots of wood and baking spices. Rich and chewy with a slightly slick and sweet finish, it is nice to see Powers adding this bottling to their collection."
