Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year

A great beginners scotch! Easy to drink but still maintaining the complexity of scotch. If youre trying to break into scotch as a bourbon drinker, this is sweet enough to get into as a gateway.

I'm not normally a fan of rum cask, but this one managed to be tropical and fruity without slapping you in the face with rum. Give it a shot if you want something Caribbean but still leans scotch.

Good fruit forward nose with maple syrup. Fruity palate that drops off dramatically with little to no finish.

Rum adds nuance.
