Nose: floral, fruity
Tongue: sweet, fruity (cherry, slight grape), very sherry
Overall, good scotch, can definitely tell it’s been in a sherry cask, but pleasantly so
Honestly, its just OK. Not really a fan of the lingering aftertaste and I also don't get as much "wood" as I would expect from a double wood? This is a decent speyside but I always look for something with a bit more character than your standard Speyside. I was hoping this one would provide just that... I still have a strong opinion that any scotch brand you can find in any liquor store, in 5-10 different types, wont make good Scotch. A true shame... If you are looking for wood, look at your American Bourbons or Ryes...
