Balvenie Rum Cask 17 Year

Extremely smooth. Rum barrel adds notes of flavor but doesn't dominate. An elevated version of the 14 year old. Exceptional scotch.

As a newcomer to the world of scotch and whisky, I loved the experience of tasting this. I’ve never even had one of the classic Balvenies but this rum cask was fantastic. That hint of sweetness overtone and wonderfully smooth finish made for the perfect sipper after dinner on Valentine’s Day

Ok. Spiecier and not very sweet. Hard finish.

Fast burn, mouth Maple sweetness ? Some vanilla, dark fruit
