Balvenie Single Barrel Sherry Cask 15 Year

Excellent expression from the Balvenie, one of my favorites so far... beautiful dark amber color. Lots of sweet brown sugar and molasses on the nose and on the taste. Oak begins to come in at the end. A whisky you can always go back to if nothing else is working for you.

A solid edition to The Balvenie collection. A dessert scotch with a good 👊 with the higher proof of the single barrel.

A bit of Gunpowder, sulphur, dark ashed berries. Drying on the finish. Not a bad drop
