Tasting Notes
"The peat aroma is moderate and is nicely mixed with notes of porridge topped with honey and dried apples along with a splash of sweet cream. The whisky is medium full and soft in mouthfeel. Again the mossy peat flavors blend with the gently sweet malt. As for the peat level, think 3.5 out of 10. The finish has a decent length to it. Would imagine the packaging will either entice or revolt — no middle ground. But look past that because at this price, the whisky offers a good value for a weekday dram or a mixed drink. "
