The Dublin Liberties Oak Devil 5 Year
Blended
The Dublin Liberties // Ireland
Oak Devil is a blend of malt and grain whiskeys (30% malt, 70% grain) that have been aged for 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels. The name comes from the story of the Oak Devil that stood watch over The Liberties, the distillery district in Dublin, that suddenly disappeared one night.
Legend has it that the Oak Devil was seduced by the whiskey angels escaping the nearby barrels. This is bottled at 46% without chill-filtration.

Tasting Notes
"The Dublin Liberties Oak Devil is a robust Irish blend. Vanilla emerges right out of the gate, backed by hints of pear and almond, with nutmeg and baking spice lingering on the finish. Balanced, with a moderate body, and never overpowering, it makes a very enjoyable whiskey for mixing or every day sipping."
