Glenlivet 15 Year French Oak Reserve
Single Malt
The Glenlivet // Speyside, Scotland
Their second youngest expression in their arsenal, The Glenlivet 15 is aged much like their 12 year.
That is to say in used (very used) ex-bourbon barrels, but for those three extra years it ages in new French Limousin oak which are typically used in Cognac production.

Tasting Notes
"An aroma of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal first comes to mind upon bringing the whisky to your nose. As you taste, more sweets are unearthed such as butterscotch and vanilla cream. As it comes to a close, you are left with a drying and minty finish."
